DIY Plastic Toy Book Ends

I’m SO TIRED of finding images of Pottery Barn goods as DIY images on sites these days. I can’t tell you how many times a day I stumble on those silly blue dog book ends on Pinterest saying “EASY DIY BOOKKKKENENNNDSS!” and I click it to be re-directed to a PBkids catalog.

I get that sometimes using an image can spark your own DIY ideas, but no one has bothered to post images of their handiwork; it’s the same PBkids image over and over. Some don’t even explain how you WOULD make the book ends.

In protest, I am posting THESE links to ACTUAL tutorials and images for DIY book ends.

Enjoy.

Shower jelly soap experimentation 3: paint pots! Vegan agar base: set well, colors took, but doesn’t seem to clean as well. Getting closer!

Shower jelly experiment part II; this time I used a rose extract + detergent. Smells like…rose detergent! XD It jelled beautifully, holds up outside the fridge, and wobbles like a pro. It doesn’t lather as much as I’d like and isn’t vegan yet though. Working on it!

How to: Moss Graffiti. Put in blender: one can of cheap beer or 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, a few handfuls of moss, one teaspoon of sugar. Paint on wall and mist daily until it grows.
How I LOVE this.
